How we work

Client information

We keep client information confidential.

We do not name clients or publish their figures.

We begin by reviewing your company and accounting records, then confirm the scope in writing before work starts.

Review first

We look at your company and records before we quote a fee.

Scope in writing

The proposal states what is included and how long it remains valid.

Missing records

Late or incomplete books get a separate cleanup review first.

Starting with WMC

  1. Tell us about the company

Activities, registrations, current records and what you need.

  2. We review

Company structure, registrations, accounting status and reporting needs.

  3. We confirm the scope in writing

Documents, responsibilities, deadlines and the services included.

See how we calculate our fees for the information we request and what our written proposal covers.

Moving from another accountant

We start with a review of your prior financial statements and tax filings, opening balances, bank reconciliations and outstanding items, along with the invoices, receipts and supporting records that are available.

Then we agree the handover scope and a start date.

If something is missing, we tell you what we could and could not review.

If records are late or incomplete

A separate cleanup review comes first. It looks for missing periods, balance differences, filing gaps and documents still to be collected. Some historical issues take time to resolve.

See accounting cleanup.

Year-end and audit

The appointed independent CPA

Carries out the audit and issues the audit opinion.

WMC

Prepares the accounting records and supporting schedules and responds to audit requests.

See audit coordination and statutory audit support.

Tell us about your company

There is no need to send accounting records with your first enquiry.
